FOC 08/09
FOC 08/09 (MARCH 28th-30th)

lol was supposed to meet at 930 on thurs the 27th to have breakfast tgt with some of the OC before preparing for FOC camp! so in the morning i got a call from ongton: where are you ah?
then i looked at my handphone time and OMG! 930 alr. BEST SIA. worse still the rule was that anyone being late will kena billy blanja. scared like shit!
so so in the end reached school around 11+ to collect sunshine bread. run around like siao cos camp shirts arriving at the same time and WHOO pub team did a great job. (YAH tze kee & assmond the shirt very nice hokay! :D )
then we started cutting the 1241829401242 very nice fake money that jordan printed! and i cant really remb what happened after that leh. at 6pm the facs+helpers started flocking in and we had pre-foc sessions. jordan & flora stole 2 sheng shiong trolleys with only 20cents. and the trolleys were filled with 16 watermelons and stuff and they ran for their life. HAHAHA DAMN FUNNY LA! everyone burst out laughing like nobody's business. I STILL CANT BELIEVE U GUYS DID THAT! then at night it was nightwalk trial. hahaha i was walking with lishi again. we kena scared and screamed a few times but each time we started laughing after that! WE ARE BRAVE SOULS! and then we bathed at like 6am! WOW I STILL CANT BELIEVE IT!
DAY 1 - 28th, friday
woke up at an early 730. campers started to flock in at 11 and i was at the registration booth. wah quite boring but lol really happy so many campers turned up :) for lunch me and khad cycled all the way to macs to tabao food for the rest cos we were all starving. i know we both very kind. HEH :D
dinner on the first day, quite alright i guess, but lots of leftovers :( and then we started to prepare for nightwalk! was supposed to station at MM area. was bitten by the ohsohungry mosquitoes over there. they practically feasted on me. (i seriously think the mosquitoes have evolved to such a stage that they are immune to insect repellent) nightwalk was really fun doing the pulling and all. first and last and best experience EVER.
DAY 2 - 29th, sat
nvr even sleep and then we started to cook MILO for breakfast! was boiling hot water and happily pouring the 1kg milo packets into the big (ok not so big) pot like some aunty. KOP-ed ladles and whatever we could find from the stalls at fc6! hahaha! the milo turned out nice and i got scalded once. kaya was not bad :D after breakfast everyone gathered at mlt 8 to cheer and camp songs. me and natalie were so tired we tried to lie in different places and different positions to catch a quick nap. lol! at night was gala night at convention centre. the skits by campers totally rocked and OC advertisements were the hots!
ongton and vivian did the family guy one. wah and vivian's face was CLASSIC! "mum. mum. mum. mum. vivian. vivian. chiobu. chiobu. " HAHAHAHAHAHA. the audience burst out laughing! 2nd advertisement was the FEDEX zhang xian shen one. super impromptu and SOMEONE fall down HORRRRR? freaking funny! LOL! AFTER THAT HAD BUFFET AND NOBODY CAN DENY THAT IT WAS NICE! :)) (i dare you to!) at the end of day 2 was disco night and we mass danced alot of times. finally got decent sleep for about 8+ hours.
DAY 3 - 20th, sun
last day! most of today we were at MLT8 doing cheers and camp songs and prize presentation.
cleaning of bunks, prize presentation and HAHAHA the prizes were REALLY GOOD. 2 days supply of SUNSHINE BREAD. can eat for breakfast lunch & dinner. shiok! sharing session where everybody wrote on each others backs to as a form of remembering the camp and the many many fun and hoo-ha people there. to round off the camp we threw the remaining waterbombs from the previous day's event. got wet but enjoyed myself thoroughly. it was sad say goodbye to everyone after such a fun week!
LAST BUT NOT LEAST I LOVE ORG COMM! WE STUCK THROUGH THICK AND THIN, FRUSTRATIONS AFTER FRUSTRATIONS, SCREW UPS, LAUGHTERS, LATE NIGHTS AND STICKY-NO-TIME-TO-BATHE-SITUATIONS. AFTER 2 MTHS OF HARD HARD WORK, SB FOC 08/09 WAS A SUCCESS!

small things in life
so on wed alicia, vivian and me went to check out items for fop but realised that the company we were looking for had relocated. so we found this instead:
change of plans and went to collect sponsorship items instead.
afterwhich the rest went to JE and bought jackets!
and simple things like that tend to cheer me up and make my day.
oh and AUGUST RUSH is a MUST WATCH!
it looks boring, seems boring, but it isnt!
and i want the OSTs!
so moving on to today, fop bonding session in the morning, after which we went to buy food which made me and felicia go crazy.
imagine buying lots and lots of food for 300 people.
we practically cleared the whole shelf la.
camp is next week and everybody is excited and at the same time, nervous, kanchiong, high, happy, tired, anticipating, and all the different emotions you could ever feel.
and all the hard work we put in, it must and will go well :D
and when u know its never gna happen

but i cant transfer cos i think it wld be worse if ur all alone in a foreign class.
argh now im certain that it will be terrible.
gosh srsly hope we can take the same gems and learn spanish tgt!
and and be in the same lecture hall.
at least i can like appease myself that its not all that bad.

FOE
wow the previous week was some hectic one.
did FOE preparations on tues and wed with about half the OC.
then on thursday vivian, darryl, jordan and me did some last preparations before the rest of the OC came back from dnd. and sleepover was a crazy one!
vivian, fel, lishi & me slept at 2 and we woke up at about 3 to find our specs, hp and slippers MISSING! the room was pitch dark and i sort of found a way to crawl over to fel and lishi. whats worst was i needed the toilet very very badly and urgently! and cannot find my specs! (ps. my degree is around 400+ 500+) wahp. so after we switched on the lights was treasure hunt time. our stuff were in extremely -.- places.
while we were treasure hunting, the rest were walking to clementi for um, supfast?(supper+breakfast) crazy people! lol and meanwhile we exchanged the contents of their bags to get back at them. had a good laugh when we found out abt somebody's very nice BOXERS and somebody's very nice BRA. HAHAHA! actually im quite relieved that i didnt wake up to find any toothpaste on my face la.
so after all the hoo-ha, breakfast at macs, AGAIN! then FOE started. at first not that many people, then after that the crowd started pouring in. i was at the registration counter and keep writing receipts! omg and so so so many people wanted to join FOC camp, meaning the OC did a wonderful job persuading all of them. no wonder we're BUSINESS SCHOOL peeple. and i kept going "this is the INdemnity form. pls fill it in and bring it for camp. and also we have some vouchers for u to enjoy. see you at the camp, thankyou!"
at the end of the day, it paid off well! we have our 200 campers and lotsa people on the waiting list. too bad for them then :D went home, slept and swimming time!
swimming today(i mean ytd) was not bad. i can almost swim alr! left the hands part only. yay. swimming again tmr and shopping with fel! cant wait! WOOHOO :D
oh and it finally stopped raining today! finally after so many days. i hope it doesnt rain tmr too!
edit: vivian and i and some of the rest listen to the song - way back into love so many times till we're really sick of it. its a nice song though!

results
ARGH results for option and class next year are out already on NYAA.
im in DBA09 and i should just bang the wall now. yes i got into the right option but the classmates remain almost the same. i already know almost half the ppl who got into the same class, and its so not consoling. maybe it might work out. i pray that at least the lecture hall will be pleasant.
and if nothing stops me, im wna learn spanish next year! (even if i have no $$)
and recently my life has changed alot. i meet different people, i learn new stuff about myself, and ive had quite a number of interesting surprises and unexpected incidents. then i look back and realize ive grown up. im amazed at what ive gone through and my thought process has really changed drastically. suppose this time i walk another path, i might discover more than i expected.
so, was it only my imagination?

FOC
my parents finally got a new modem and i can go online everyday without the modem going into standby mode everytime i switch it on. woohoo! at least we dont have to switch it on at 5am in the morning to use it at 9am anymore. takes freaking long to load. so now i can finally blog!
ytd was FOC bonding and like i said,
MATAS just havent warmed up yet.
although first bonding session we didnt respond that well.
it was just a cover ehehe. MATAS rock and we'll beat MAFFEES HANDS DOWN YEAH!
and our cluster flag looks fantastic. way professional, like printed out like that.
after that was FOC/FOP meeting.
everybody was so shag. until break time. when i saw this big lorry with tons and tons of boxes.
lol, solved our problem of prop making. we ended meeting at like 4.44pm and started to shift the boxes. and the OC peeepo are seriously LOL. they find joy in everything! even shifting 987654321 boxes to the storeroom can be so fun with them around. throw the boxes, roll the boxes, push the boxes, race with the boxes. after which events team had meeting. we joined them for awhile(and ate delicious cowhead biscuits for the 199th time), and they seriously digress alot and did crazy crazy stuff. haha!
after that was swimming with fel and it was way cool. the instructor is like 20 only, and shes from hwa chong! wow. and i cant wait to try the icecream nearby, cant remb the name of the shop.
so now everybody is addicted to viwawa. lol. good things spread fast aye? from 2 to 4 to practically half the OC playing it.
